In short: Social Viewer is a free service provided as is. Use it only to view what people have chosen to make public, follow Snapchat's terms and the law, and don't use it to harass, track or bulk-collect data about anyone.
1. Agreement
By using Social Viewer at publicsnapchatstoryviewer.com ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. What the app does
The app displays information that Snapchat account owners have made public on their Public Profile, such as name, bio, subscriber count, public stories and saved highlights. It doesn't access private accounts, private stories, messages or anything behind a login, and it isn't designed to.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to:
- harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten or monitor any person, or help anyone else do so
- collect, store, compile or sell data about people in bulk, or build profiles or databases of individuals
- repost, redistribute or commercially exploit other people's content without their permission
- overload, disrupt or send automated high-volume requests to Snapchat's services
- try to access private accounts, non-public content or anything behind a login, or modify the app to do so
- break any law or regulation, or anyone's rights, including privacy, data protection and intellectual property
4. Snapchat's terms
The app reads publicly available pages from Snapchat. You're responsible for making sure your use also complies with Snap's Terms of Service and any other rules Snap Inc. publishes. Snap may change or restrict access to its pages at any time, which may stop parts of the app from working.
5. Content and intellectual property
The profiles, stories, images and videos shown in the app belong to their creators and to Snap Inc. The app doesn't host, copy or claim ownership of any of it; it only shows it to you as Snapchat publishes it. Snapchat and related marks are trademarks of Snap Inc.
6. No affiliation
Social Viewer is an independent project. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Snap Inc. in any way.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Information shown may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and the app may stop working if Snapchat changes its website.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app's authors and contributors aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. You use the app at your own risk and are solely responsible for how you use it.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless the app's authors and contributors from any claims, damages or costs arising from your use of the app or your breach of these terms.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. When they change, the date at the top of this page will change too. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
